Room Service Order Taker

As an F&B and Event Service Expert at Marriott International, your role is to create memorable and unique experiences for guests by providing exceptional food and beverage services during banquets and events. You will be responsible for a wide range of event functions, from setting tables and event materials to communicating with the kitchen, interacting with guests, and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will play a key role in making guests feel like a part of the overall experience. Key Responsibilities: - Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff - Maintain a clean and professional appearance, while upholding confidentiality and protecting company assets - Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards - Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues using clear and professional language - Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members to achieve common goals - Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all aspects of service - Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, bending, twisting, lifting objects up to 25 pounds, and other duties as requested by Supervisors Qualifications Required: - Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent - Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience - Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required - License or Certification: None required At Marriott International, diversity and inclusion are core values, and we are committed to providing equal opportunities for all individuals.
