Room Attendant

Key Responsibilities:- Guest Room Maintenance: Clean and tidy guest rooms and bathrooms, including changing bed linens, dusting furniture, and replenishing amenities like toiletries and towels.  Guest Services: Greet guests, answer questions about the establishment and area, assist with luggage, and address guest concerns or complaints.  Restocking & Supplies: Restock room supplies, such as beverages in minibars, and maintain an inventory of items used in guest areas.  Operational Support: Report maintenance issues, clean public areas like corridors, update room status on assignment sheets, and return cleaning carts at the end of a shift.  Safety & Security: Ensure guest safety and security by following protocols and reporting any suspicious activity.  Required Skills & Qualifications:- Customer Service: A friendly, welcoming, and courteous demeanor is essential for interacting with guests.  Communication: Strong verbal and listening skills are needed to understand guest needs and convey information clearly.  Physical Stamina: The ability to spend most of the shift on your feet, performing physical tasks like cleaning and carrying supplies.  Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is required to ensure rooms are impeccably clean and all guest needs are met.  Teamwork & Adaptability: The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, adapting to varying workloads and guest needs.  Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.  Work Environment:- Hospitality: The role is in a hotel, guest house, or similar establishment focused on providing a comfortable and positive experience for guests.  Physical Demands: Involves significant standing, walking, bending, and lifting to perform cleaning and other duties.
