Room Attendant

As a Room Attendant at The Seahaus Hotel, your primary responsibility is to ensure thorough cleanliness in all areas of the hotel, aiming to enhance the guest experience through impeccable cleanliness standards. Your duties include reporting maintenance issues, addressing guest requests and complaints, and upholding the confidentiality and security of guest rooms. Key Responsibilities: - Clean and disinfect assigned guestrooms, including bathrooms, by dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, changing sheets, and emptying trash containers. - Restock towels and necessary supplies, ensuring proper placement of facial tissues, toilet paper, and bathroom amenities. - Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. - Maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance and usage, ensuring safe handling at all times. - Keep cart and linen rooms organized and safe, reporting maintenance issues promptly for guest satisfaction. - Handle assigned keys responsibly and submit all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office. - Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines, especially when dealing with heavy loads or soiled linen. - Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager, and be prepared to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed. Qualifications: - Fluency in English is desirable. - Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions accurately. - Capacity to work with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality. - Present a clean, neat appearance and demonstrate the ability to handle tasks efficiently. - Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial. Physical Demands: - Engage in strenuous activities such as standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting, and manipulating objects for extended periods. - Carry or lift up to 50 lbs, perform repetitive tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
