Room Attendant

As a Room Attendant, your role involves cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, and other public areas. Your responsibilities include: - Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas. - Dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors. - Changing bed linens and replacing used towels with clean ones. - Emptying trash cans and replacing garbage bags. - Checking and cleaning windows. - Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to management. You will also be responsible for restocking guest room supplies, such as toiletries, coffee, tea, and water. Additionally, you will refill mini-bar items, update bills, and ensure all necessary guest supplies are available in the room. In terms of guest services and communication, you are expected to respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner. Greeting guests and providing excellent customer service are essential aspects of this role. Moreover, reporting any lost and found items to the appropriate department is crucial. Safety and adherence to procedures are paramount. You must follow all health, safety, and hygiene rules as well as hotel policies. Adhering to established procedures for handling and disposing of linens and waste is necessary to maintain cleanliness that meets the hotel's standards.
