Rooftop PV Site Engineer

Job Description

Vyomaa Energy is seeking a Solar Rooftop PV Site Engineer with experience to manage installations at multiple sites in West Bengal. You will oversee a cumulative 1 MWp rooftop solar installation across two locations: the Haldiram Bhujiawala Factory in Alampur and Singur, Kolkata. ### Key Qualifications: - Proficient in English and Hindi; Bengali preferred for client and reporting needs. - Ability to work independently and in teams, with a willingness to travel to remote project sites. - Must be comfortable working on high rooftops with a harness and overseeing on-site maintenance activities. - Internship or project experience in solar PV is a plus. ### Responsibilities: - Conduct site assessments and assist with project planning. - Supervise the installation, perform on-site inspections, and ensure compliance with design specifications. - Oversee regular cleaning and maintenance of panels and the entire plant for optimal performance. - Update and track inventory, ensuring all materials are available and accounted for. - Monitor daily energy generation and document system performance. - Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards. - Prepare and submit progress reports for clients and management.
