Job Title: RO / STP / ETP Operator

Experience: 2–4 Years

Location: Pukkathurai, Natrajpuram

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced RO Operator with hands-on experience in operating STP, ETP, and RO plants. The candidate will be responsible for daily plant operations, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, monitoring water quality, and maintaining proper records. The role also includes ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or relevant field
• 2 to 4 years of experience in RO, STP, and ETP plant operations
• Experience in industrial/commercial water treatment systems preferred

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of RO, STP, and ETP operations
• Experience with backwashing, membrane cleaning, and basic troubleshooting
• Understanding of wastewater treatment processes and water quality parameters
• Ability to maintain detailed logs and reports
• Good coordination, communication, and team-working skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain RO, STP, and ETP plants efficiently
• Perform routine tasks including backwashing, membrane cleaning, chemical dosing, and equipment checks
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs, replacements, and breakdown management
• Maintain accurate logbooks, operation records, and daily reports
• Monitor plant parameters and ensure treated water quality meets standards
• Assist in root-cause analysis during operational issues
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure plant cleanliness and housekeeping
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance activities
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals used in treatment processes
• Follow all safety guidelines, SOPs, and statutory requirements
