Risk Management (Contracts) Manager

You will be responsible for the following in the role: **Role Overview:** KPMG entities in India provide services to national and international clients across various sectors. You will be required to have post-qualification legal experience, including considerable experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client/third party contracts. Additionally, you will need to understand the firm's risk management policies, work independently, exercise judgment in handling confidential information, and collaborate effectively with others in a fast-paced environment. Experience in working with teams across different countries and time zones will also be valuable. **Key Responsibilities:** - Draft, review, and negotiate client/third party contracts - Liaise with internal stakeholders, business teams, and senior management to address complex contractual issues promptly - Provide clarifications on legal concerns to senior management and business teams - Work within tight deadlines and the firm's legal and risk framework to ensure smooth closure of contracts/agreements - Negotiate with clients/third parties on contractual matters and escalate critical issues internally - Update SOP, train junior team members, and support process simplification, automation, and innovation within the team - Gain a broad understanding of the firm's risk management policies - Adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal risk procedures at all times **Qualification Required:** - LLB/LLM degree - 6+ years of relevant experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools - Familiarity with legal and other productive technology tools (added advantage) - Strong executive presence, excellent communication, and relationship development skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously - Good written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills - Keen sense of responsibility, professional standards, and dependability Additionally, KPMG entities in India were established in August 1993 and have offices across various cities in the country, offering rapid, performance-based, industry-focused, and technology-enabled services to clients.,
