Job Description

Key Responsibilities -

  • Identify and assess risks
    • Inspect facilities, equipment, and processes.
    • Spot potential hazards before they cause harm.
    • Provides the foundation for all other risk management activities.
  • Mitigate risks
    • Develop strategies to reduce likelihood and severity of accidents or losses.
    • Recommend safety improvements, operational changes, or protective measures.
    • Directly lowers claims frequency and severity.
  • Provide technical support
    • Analyze data and prepare underwriting notes.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and clients on technical issues.
    • Ensures decisions are backed by evidence and expertise.
  • Assist underwriters
    • Supply assessments and reports that influence policy pricing.
    • Help decide whether coverage should be accepted or declined.
    • Bridges the gap between technical risk analysis and financial decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance
    • Verify adherence to safety standards and regulations.
    • Protects clients from legal penalties and reputational damage.
    • Strengthens trust between insurer and client.
