Position Overview

Risk / Compliance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Risk Management

  • Develop and implement risk management policies, frameworks, and strategies across the organization.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and prepare risk reports for senior management.
  • Establish controls to prevent fraud, data breaches, and operational lapses.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure strict compliance with RBI, NPCI, and other applicable financial regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry practices relevant to payments and fintech.
  • Manage compliance audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Develop and implement internal compliance policies, SOPs, and monitoring systems.

Governance & Internal Controls

  • Establish effective internal control mechanisms to ensure organizational integrity.
  • Conduct compliance testing, internal reviews, and process audits.
  • Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective and preventive measures.

Stakeholder & Training Responsibilities

  • Liaise with regulators, auditors, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide compliance training, guidance, and awareness sessions to employees.
  • Act as a key advisor to management on compliance and risk-related issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Law, Finance, Risk Management, or related discipline

    (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum

    5 years of experience

    in

    risk and compliance management

    within

    fintech, payments, or banking sector

    .
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • RBI guidelines and circulars
    • AML / KYC compliance
    • Data privacy, IT security, and fraud risk management
  • Proven experience in

    regulatory liaison, audits, and risk frameworks

    .
  • Excellent

    analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making

    skills.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ethical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
