Risk Analyst

Role & responsibilities

1. Credit Assessment & Appraisal

• Analyse borrowers financial statements, cash flow projections, and business model for large exposure cases.
• Assess DSCR, leverage ratios, liquidity, and profitability trends for sanction decisions.
• Evaluate working capital cycle, term loan repayment capacity, and stress scenarios.

2. Risk Analysis & Mitigation

• Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks in high-value proposals.
• Recommend risk mitigants such as DSRA, collateral enhancement, covenants, and guarantees.

3. Structuring & Documentation

• Design appropriate loan structures (tenor, EMI, moratorium, step-up repayment) aligned with cash flows.
• Ensure proper creation of security (charge registration, lien marking, mortgage) and documentation.

4. Compliance & Policy Adherence

• Ensure proposals meet RBI guidelines, internal credit norms, and exposure limits.
• Monitor adherence to KYC, AML, and statutory compliance requirements.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with Relationship Managers, Legal, and Risk teams for end-to-end credit processing.
• Present proposals to Credit Committee with detailed CAM (Credit Appraisal Memorandum).
