Responsibilities &

• Process risks to ensure that all operational procedures have been complied with, geocoding levels are as per Duties agreed standards, policy limits & deductibles have been correctly applied in Open Exposure

• Work closely with the team undertaking Underwriting activities
• Gain in-depth understanding of the structure of London-Market policies
• To ensure exposure information is captured in a precise and accurate manner and within the timeline specified. Understand and put to practice the basic rules of exposure management.
• Recognize and comprehend ground level data and associated policy coverages in excel and in allied software to carry out meaningful reporting. Perform data review, cleansing/scrubbing, geocoding, augmenting, validating, preparing exposure data for catastrophe risk analysis. Creating summary reports of client provided exposure.
• Data Capture, reporting on a weekly / monthly duration, analysis of data for different lines of business including Offshore Energy account, Offshore Construction policies, property, terrorism, marine, construction, cargo, hull etc.
• Use of third-party software for the capturing exposure information like insured values, financial limits & retention / deductibles for different lines of business.
• Respond to brokers, clients, and reinsurers on issues and questions relating to data for risk analysis for natural and manmade catastrophes.
• Good, demonstrable understanding of London Market Slips (Broker Backup or Claims).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products, with intermediate proficiency in Excel strongly preferred. SQL experience a definite plus. Previous backgroud in insurance knowledge of exposure aggregation and geocoding will add more advantage.
