Job Description

As a Compensation Analyst at Novartis Healthcare Private Limited in Hyderabad, India, your role is pivotal in enabling Novartis to effectively hire and retain talent by ensuring the quality and timely delivery of core compensation processes and consulting services for the respective country/countries. Your responsibilities will include supporting job evaluation, benchmarking, offers, and salary cycle activities, as well as providing related training, education, and insights. Key Responsibilities: - Perform quality job evaluations within agreed timelines for assigned job functions, maintaining the current job evaluation system, and acting as a subject matter expert for all position evaluation topics. - Support core benchmarking and year-end activities for assigned countries, including survey participation, analysis, submissions, and studying labor markets to determine salary trends and ranges. - Engage with country stakeholders to understand hiring and retention activities, propose salary structures and adjustments based on survey data, and ensure fair budget distribution during the salary planning cycle. - Maintain a country knowledge base for countries under scope, including local process step-outs and market ranges to support core compensation processes. - Support the offer process for respective countries, review and track offers outside rewards guidelines, and provide recommendations or escalate when necessary. - Assist Rewards Business Partner with other compensation and benefits activities/projects, deliver training to stakeholders on core compensation processes, and provide integrated rewards/P&O analytics. - Participate in global/regional rewards projects, continuous improvement activities, and ensure compliance with Ethics, Risk, and Compliance policies. Qualifications Required: - Higher education in HR/Economics or relevant business education. - Certification in C&B is preferable. - 2 to 5 years of P&O experience, preferably in C&B. - Basic understanding of compensation elements in an organizational context. Desirable Skills: - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, matrixed, global environment. - Strong data analytics and presentation skills. - Stakeholder engagement. - Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
