Retail Store Manager (Footwear)

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to company standards.
  
• Drive sales growth and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
  
• Manage staff scheduling, training, performance, and motivation to ensure excellent customer service.
  
• Ensure proper visual merchandising, product display, and hygiene standards within the store.
  
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and coordinate with the warehouse for timely supplies.
  
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations effectively to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  
• Maintain accurate sales reports, cash handling, billing accuracy, and daily reconciliation.
  
• Implement promotional activities, offers, and marketing campaigns at the store level.
  
• Ensure loss prevention by monitoring pilferage, shrinkage, and maintaining store security protocols.
  
• Track store KPIs and take corrective actions to improve performance.
  
• Liaise with regional managers and provide regular operational updates.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience:

  3 to 10+ years of retail store management experience (preferably in footwear, fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands).

• Qualification:

  Graduate in any discipline; retail management certification is a plus.

• Skills:

  Strong sales acumen, customer service orientation, team leadership, inventory management, and communication skills.

• Knowledge:

  Understanding of retail KPIs, visual merchandising standards, and POS billing systems.
