Retail Store Accountant

As an Accountant at our company in Siliguri, West Bengal, you will be responsible for various financial tasks to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with accounting standards. Your role will involve assisting in financial statement preparation, accounting tasks such as budgeting and cash flow management, auditing and compliance, and contributing to special projects as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations - Assist in preparing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, etc.) - Review and analyze financial data for accuracy and discrepancies - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis - Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow - Assist with internal and external audits - Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards - Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 0-2 years of experience in accounting or related field - Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xerox, etc.) - Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and organizational skills - Effective communication and teamwork skills In addition, the company offers benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
