Description:

  • The Corporate Security Coordinator (CSC) directly assists the Global Security Corporate Security Partner (CSP) or Global Security Retail Security Business Partner (RSBP) at a site or with programs. The CSC has various daily responsibilities and can be leveraged for ad-hoc requests by Global Security Leadership. CSCs that function will take direction from the CSP, RSBPr or Global Security Manager (GSM), which allows work functions to continue while taking all confidentiality and disclosures into account.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous government or security management, supervisory, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Availability 24/7 to manage all operational needs.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, with a broad perspective and a strong sense of purpose.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail, including excellent time management abilities.
  • Proven team management skills with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, demonstrating the ability to deliver a high level of service.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of and applies the concepts of teamwork, results-orientation, and innovation.
  • Proven aptitude to develop individuals to perform at their best potential.
  • Must possess the ability to function effectively in stressful situations while exercising sound judgment.
  • Must possess (or be able to possess through training) and maintain any required licensing or certificates.
  • Proficient with the listed programs (Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Quip, Box, etc.).
  • Strong English proficiency in speaking and writing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Possess/maintain a valid drivers license, a clean driving record for the last three years, and maintain driving privileges.

Responsibilities:

  • Remain professional at all times, using tact and courtesy while performing duties.
  • Monitor and oversee the Global Security Department's temporary badges, utilizing each effectively on a case-by-case basis.
  • Submit Secure Access Change Requests (SACRs) on as requested by the CSP.
  • Manage building escalations to the GS Corporate Security team from local stakeholders.
  • Act as the first point of contact and escalation for on-site alarms, escalating alarms reported by the RSOC or GSOC.
  • Liaise with internal cross-functional Global Security teams for building activations.
  • Attend internal company calls on behalf of the CSP or RSBP for company projects.
  • Act as the first point of contact for any on-site escalation requiring security visibility and oversight.
  • Generate Incident Reports with all pertinent information for the CSP or RSBP .
  • Execute directives provided by the CSP or RSBP for on-site escalations.
  • Conduct, troubleshoot, resolve finding and complete site assessments assigned by the CSP.
  • Provide intelligence updates from local sources to the CSP or RSBP and any other involved internal Global Security teams during crises.
  • Work with the CSP or RSBP to develop possible solutions and adjustments around any crisis support that may impact the campus or the impacted region.
  • Serve as an additional escalation point for all non-Crisis Support campus/building matters during secondary crisis support.
  • Ensure that all secure spaces meet the qualifications of the designated internal stakeholders to enable secure work.
  • Work with all necessary teams to outfit spaces accordingly per the Business Units' workspace needs.
  • Proactively monitor team moves to ensure that spaces originally designed for Security are feasible for other internal stakeholders.
  • Submit Facility Service Requests (FSRs) on behalf of the CSP or RSBP and monitor progress.
  • Conduct investigations for the CSP or RSBP , including CCTV review via Global Security internal tools and software.
  • Work closely with the GS Technology team to ensure that the necessary systems, tools, and hardware are installed on-site.
  • Oversee all confidential item transportation for all buildings within the respective region.
  • Coordinate with vendor security leadership to manage, and support security staff onsite with any necessary equipment or oversight.
  • Visit any locations or sites within the respective region per the direction of the CSP or RSBP .
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Post Orders meet the expectations of Global Security, including appropriate formatting, detailed clarity, and regular updates/audits subject to CSP or RSBP approval prior to implementation
  • Maintain regular communication with Global Security CSP or RSBP , and Global Security Manager (GSM) to foster a strong working relationship and open communication channels, ensuring safety and security concerns are addressed proactively.
  • Act as a point of contact for local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, providing assistance with investigations and coordinating security efforts.
  • Document calls for service, security incidents, and other security-related matters as advised by the CSP/RSBP/GSM.Role & responsibilities
