As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, promoting our products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will work in a vibrant retail environment and be responsible for maintaining store operations, driving sales, and supporting the overall success of our brand. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service Excellence: Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Understand customer needs and preferences to provide personalized recommendations based on our range of Indian wear. Assist customers in selecting the right products, offering styling tips and product information. Handle customer queries and concerns in a polite and professional manner, ensuring a positive resolution. Sales and Product Promotion: Actively engage customers to drive sales. Stay updated on product knowledge, including fabric types, designs, and manufacturing processes, to effectively inform and educate customers. Store Operations: Maintain a neat, organized, and visually appealing store environment. Monitor inventory levels and inform the store manager about low stock or products that need reordering. Process transactions accurately at the point of sale and handle cash or card payments Customer Relationship Management: Build rapport with customers and encourage repeat visits through outstanding service and follow-up. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and the store manager to achieve sales goals and store objectives. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills. Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry. A passion for Indian wear, textiles, and fashion trends. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. A positive, energetic, and approachable attitude. Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Indian wear fashion, including traditional and contemporary designs. Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
