Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries and provide product recommendations based on their needs.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display through effective merchandising techniques.
• Supervise and train new staff members, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote new items.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items.
• Stock shelves and ensure that inventory levels are maintained appropriately.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing and transaction processing.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
