Retail Pharmacist

🎯 Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and customer-focused Retail Pharmacist to manage daily pharmacy operations, dispense medications accurately, and provide expert guidance on prescription and over-the-counter drugs. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and uphold the highest levels of patient care and safety.   📋 Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescription medications and counsel customers on dosage, side effects, and interactions Verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality as per Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 Maintain inventory of medicines and ensure proper storage conditions Monitor expiry dates and manage stock rotation Handle billing, POS systems, and maintain sales records Educate customers on health supplements, OTC products, and lifestyle medications Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act, 1948 and local drug control regulations Liaise with doctors and healthcare professionals for prescription clarifications Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pharmacy area Assist in audits, inspections, and documentation required by regulatory authorities 🎓 Qualifications & Skills: Any Qualification or Diploma or Bachelor's in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm) from a recognized institution 🕒 Working Hours: 8+1 (07 AM to 4 PM & 02.00 Pm 11.00 PM)                                  For Hospital Pharmacy _ Night will be applicable   💰 Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Incentives for meeting monthly sales targets Employee discounts on pharmacy products Provident Fund, ESI, and statutory benefits as applicable
