Position Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and customer focused Counter Sales Executive to be the face of The Grid. You will be the first point of contact for our walk-in customers, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring they have the best possible start to their visit. Your primary goal is to maximize revenue per customer by expertly upselling and cross-selling . our diverse range of games, packages, and special offers. If you have a persuasive personality and thrive on interacting with people, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer Engagement & Sales:
• Warmly greet every customer who approaches the counter and explain our gaming options in an exciting and clear manner.
• Actively listen to customer preferences to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Proactively recommend higher-value packages, combos, and promotions to enhance the customer's experience and increase transaction value.
• Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, focusing on key metrics like average transaction value.
• Upselling & Cross-Selling Expertise:
• Upsell: Convert single-game purchases into multi-games and "Unlimited Games", or beverages or any items.
• Cross-sell: Encourage customers buying a bowling session to try our laser tag arena or any other game.
• Promote our loyalty program, Events, special offers (like the Student Bonanza), and gift cards to every eligible customer.
• Point of Sale {POS) & Operations:
• Efficiently and accurately handle all sales transactions, including cash, card, and digital payments, using our POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked counter area.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering guidance, and resolving any minor issues with a positive attitude.
Upselling and cross-selling of other activities, beverages, and second games.
Managing Queues and Waiting lists
Understand the functionality of the games.
Facilitating and overseeing Housekeeping
Assign players to activities .
Guide players to play the activities.
Assisting players with questions & needs.
Executing in a quick and efficient manner.
Provide professional and extra care to the players.
Getting reviews.
On-need basis billing.
On-the-job performing any unit requirements.
Performing activities mentioned in the opening and closing checklist of the unit.
Administrative activities based on need.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
• Minimum of a Pre-University Certificate (PUC) or equivalent; a degree is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English and Kannada.
• A friendly, confident, and persuasive personality with a strong customer service focus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
Preferred:
• 1 + years of experience in a direct customer facing sales role ( e.g., retail, hospitality, entertainment, or quick-service restaurants).
• Proven track record of successfully upselling and cross-selling products or services.
• A genuine interest in gaming, sports, and entertainment.
• Experience working in a family entertainment center, cinema, or similar venue.

Timings: 2 Shifts
Morning Shift - 11AM to 8PM
Evening Shift - 2PM to 11 PM
*Working on weekends and public holidays
*Weekly off: 1 off between Monday to Thursday
