Job Description

Role Overview: As a Restaurant Manager, your role involves overseeing all aspects of running a restaurant efficiently and profitably while upholding high standards of food, service, health, and safety. Your responsibilities will include operations management, staff management, customer service, financial oversight, compliance & safety, and potentially menu planning in some cases. Key Responsibilities: - Operations Management - Oversee daily restaurant operations including the dining area, kitchen, bar, etc. - Ensure smooth service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as required - Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries - Staff Management - Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff such as servers, chefs, and bartenders - Schedule shifts effectively to manage labour costs and ensure adequate coverage - Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary - Create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and productivity - Customer Service - Ensure exceptional customer experiences and address any complaints or special requests promptly - Monitor and respond to feedback, both online and in person, to enhance service quality - Engage with guests to build relationships and foster customer loyalty - Financial Oversight - Manage restaurant budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability - Track revenue, expenses, and analyze financial reports to make strategic decisions - Ensure accurate cash handling procedures and reconcile POS transactions - Compliance & Safety - Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards to ensure regulatory compliance - Maintain necessary licensing for alcohol and food service operations - Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed - Marketing & Promotions - Execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive customer engagement - Collaborate with marketing teams or manage social media presence to enhance visibility - Develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones Qualification Required: - Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively - Understanding of financial principles and budget management - Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards Please note that the job type for this position is full-time and the work location is in-person.,
