Job Description

Welcome guests and assist with table seating and arrangements Supervise service staff and assign tables / sections during shifts Ensure guests receive timely, professional, and friendly service Resolve customer queries, feedback, or complaints effectively Take and confirm orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen / barista team Coordinate food & beverage service between kitchen and floor staff Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and service etiquette Monitor table turnover and ensure maximum occupancy during peak hours Conduct daily briefing with service team regarding menu and specials Maintain inventory of service-related items (cutlery, crockery, billing pads, etc.) Train new service staff on hospitality standards and SOPs Ensure billing accuracy and support cash counter if required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 2–4 years of experience in premium café / fine-dining / casual dining restaurant Strong communication & customer handling skills Leadership qualities, team coordination & problem-solving attitude Knowledge of restaurant service sequence and POS / billing systems Attention to detail, grooming standards, and professional etiquette Ability to work under pressure during rush hours
