Job Description

Overview: The Response Officer will be responsible for managing inbound inquiries from prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders, providing prompt and accurate information about the university's programs, admission processes, and other services. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the university's offerings, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. The Response Officer will work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to ensure that all leads are followed up effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Respond to incoming queries from prospective students, parents, and external stakeholders via phone, email, chat, or social media, providing detailed and accurate information about the universitys programs, admissions process, deadlines, and other services. Call to be made on leads/raw data. Need to communicate the university's values and USPs to the students. Convert the leads to Applications. Help the students and parents with all admissions related query and form fill up process. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism while interacting with potential students and their families, ensuring a positive and supportive experience throughout the inquiry process. Conduct follow-up communications with prospective students who have shown interest in the university, ensuring they have the information they need to proceed with the application process. Academic Advising : Provide individual counseling to current and prospective students regarding program selection, course choices, academic progress, and career pathways. Program Guidance : Advise students on appropriate academic programs based on their career goals, interests, and qualifications. Assist in understanding prerequisites, program requirements, and course sequencing. Admissions Support : Provide information about admission requirements, procedures, and deadlines to prospective students, and offer advice on how to successfully navigate the application process. Career Pathway Counseling : Assist students in exploring career options related to their academic program and help them understand the relationship between their studies and potential career paths. Referral to Support Services : Identify students in need of additional support (mental health, financial aid, disabilities services, etc.) and refer them to the appropriate university resources. Follow-Up : Regularly follow up with students regarding their academic progress and provide guidance on any adjustments needed to stay on track toward graduation.
