Job Description

Role & responsibilities

As a Manpower Planning Team member, you shall be responsible for developing, defining and implementing short- and long-term manpower plans for the indigo engineering vertical.

Ensuring the efficient utilization of the current workforce amongst the engineering vertical

Analyzing and researching the staffing requirements of each area of the engineering department. Whilst developing a strong understanding of the talent utilization within each sub function of engineering.

Work closely with IndiGo engineering business leaders in understanding their staffing requirements and make relevant recommendations.

You shall be responsible in creating manpower and workforce planning models. In addition, you will work closely on succession planning and talent management

Create annual recruitment plans based on current head count, business strategy and budgets

Assist in developing the recruitment strategy and manpower plan /targets on a yearly basis

Establish the yearly manpower plan budget in collaboration with the different functions based on the approved organization structure.

Meet with department heads on a timely basis to identify recruitment challenges and recommend action plans

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Diploma / B tech
Technical Skills: Excel, VBA, Macros, PowerPoint
