Resource Management Lead

Role & responsibilities

Lead Resource Management Role Objective Plan, allocate, and coordinate the movement of cranes, erection teams, and manpower across multiple wind turbine project sites.

This role ensures optimal resource utilization, minimal idle time, and alignment with project erection schedules Key Responsibilities Crane Allocation & Movement Planning •

Maintain and update a master crane tracker with location, availability, and planned movements.

• Coordinate inter-site crane movements based on readiness signals and erection schedules.

• Work closely with crane vendors for mobilization, demobilization, and transport logistics. Manpower & Crew Deployment

• Track availability and productivity of erection crews, supervisors, and technical teams.

• Plan mobilization of teams based on WTG erection sequences and site readiness.

• Maintain a rolling manpower deployment plan for 46 weeks in advance.

• Identify resource gaps and escalate needs for augmentation or reallocation. Resource Utilization & Optimization

• Track crane idle time, crew waiting time, and mismatch between readiness vs. resource arrival.

• Provide inputs to PMO Leads and Head DAU for execution efficiency analysis.

• Develop resource utilization KPIs and dashboards for visibility across execution leadership. Coordination & Vendor Interface

• Act as the interface between execution team and external contractors/vendors for manpower and cranes.

• Align manpower planning with contractual SLAs, safety requirements, and site needs.

• Maintain clear records of crew allocation, shift rosters, and crane usage logs. Required Qualifications & Skills

Preferred candidate profile

Engineering graduate with mechanical or civil specialization preferred.

• 5–12 years of field/project execution experience in wind/renewables.

• Understanding of heavy erection, sequencing, crane operations.

• Strong communication and issue-resolution mindset. Reporting & Interfaces
