1.Should have exposure to various manufacturing processes like turning, milling, grinding etc., machines, material grades and cutting tools, jig & fixture concepts and practices, casting & forging processes, heat treatment and other special processes. 2.Should be conversant with preparation of process plans ( PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan, Process drawings, Work instructions / SOP) and requirements of APQP, PPAP and TS / IATF. Should have working knowledge in AutoCAD and 3D modelling. 3.Should be familiar with Industrial engineering and Lean manufacturing concepts and practices. Exposure to SAP - master data, bom & routing creation and maintenance. 4.Should have communication skills to interact independently with customers, able to compile technical reviews / presentation, propose alternatives for cost effective manufacturing, support marketing team in technical / commercial discussions with customers.
