Job Description

As an Assistant Front Office Manager at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, your role involves assisting the Front Office Manager in overseeing front office functions and supervising staff daily. Your responsibilities include managing Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk areas to ensure an efficient check-in and check-out process while maximizing guest and employee satisfaction and departmental financial performance. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day operations to meet customer expectations and quality standards. - Develop specific goals and plans to organize your work effectively. - Handle complaints, settle disputes, resolve conflicts, and negotiate with others. - Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives. - Communicate regularly with employees to align with business objectives, recognize performance, and achieve desired results. - Lead, influence, and encourage team members, advocate sound decision-making, and demonstrate integrity. - Supervise and manage employees, understand their roles, and maintain collaborative relationships within the team. - Provide exceptional customer service by exceeding customer satisfaction and retention expectations. - Communicate, assist, and coach individuals to understand guest needs and improve service. - Respond to and resolve guest problems and complaints, setting a positive example for guest relations. - Empower employees to deliver excellent customer service and ensure they understand service expectations. - Implement customer recognition programs, train staff on credit policies, and supervise Front Desk operations to maximize revenue. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related areas. OR - 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with no work experience required.
