Reservations Manager: IDS Software

Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Reservations Manager to lead our reservations department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IDS software, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maximize room revenue while ensuring outstanding guest service. This role is critical in managing occupancy levels, optimizing inventory, and maintaining smooth communication with both guests and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all individual and group reservations across multiple channels.
• Ensure accurate input, modification, and management of bookings in IDS software.
• Maximize room sales and occupancy by monitoring yield and inventory control strategies.
• Liaise with corporate clients, travel agents, and online platforms for reservation handling.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reservation and revenue reports.
• Train and supervise reservation agents to deliver prompt and accurate service.
• Collaborate with front office, sales, and revenue management teams to ensure guest needs are met.
• Handle overbooking situations and special requests efficiently.
• Maintain updated knowledge of room rates, packages, and promotions.
• Ensure high levels of accuracy in reservation confirmations and guest records.

Requirements

• Degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in reservations management in hotels/resorts.
• Proficiency in IDS software is mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on revenue optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead a small team and manage performance effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Flexibility to work under pressure and adapt to peak business demands.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
