Job Description

The Reservation Executive is responsible for handling all guest reservation requests efficiently and professionally, ensuring maximum occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction while maintaining accurate records and smooth communication with all relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities1. Reservation Handling

  • Manage and process reservations received through phone, email, OTA platforms (Booking.com, MMT, Agoda, etc.), and direct walk-ins.
  • Ensure accurate entry of guest details, room types, rates, and special requests in the reservation system.
  • Confirm bookings promptly and send booking confirmations to guests.
  • Monitor and respond to booking inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Handle modifications, cancellations, and no-shows according to property policies.

2. Customer Service

  • Provide prompt, friendly, and professional assistance to guests regarding reservation queries.
  • Communicate property policies (e.g., check-in/check-out time, advance payment, cancellation policies) clearly to guests.
  • Coordinate with the front office and housekeeping to ensure special requests are met.

3. Revenue and Inventory Management

  • Work with the Revenue/Front Office Manager to optimize room sales through effective rate management and up-selling.
  • Track daily inventory and inform management of booking trends and occupancy forecasts.
  • Support in implementing strategies to reduce last-minute cancellations and maximize revenue.

4. Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise closely with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales teams to ensure seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain accurate reservation records and generate daily/weekly reservation reports for management review.
  • Assist in managing group bookings and coordinating with travel agents or corporate clients.

5. Administrative Duties

  • Maintain a clean and updated reservation database at all times.
  • Assist in preparing invoices for advance payments when required.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and data privacy standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel reservations or customer service.
  • Proficiency in PMS/CRM software and OTA platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure during peak booking seasons.

  • Accuracy of bookings and guest details.
  • Response time to guest inquiries and confirmations.
  • Contribution to occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Guest satisfaction feedback.
  • Coordination and communication efficiency with internal teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
