Position Overview:

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Executive for our upcoming luxury resort in Wayanad. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in general property maintenance with specific expertise in swimming pool maintenance and sewage treatment plant (STP) operations. This role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspection, cleaning, and chemical treatment of the swimming pool
• Operate and maintain pool filtration systems, pumps, and chlorinators
• Monitor and manage the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), ensuring proper functioning and compliance with environmental regulations
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and utilities
• Respond to breakdowns or emergency repair needs promptly
• Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety standards and operational guidelines
• Keep accurate records of maintenance logs, chemical levels, and STP reports
• Coordinate with external service providers as needed

Candidate Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2–4 years of maintenance experience in hotels/resorts or related industries
• Must have hands-on experience in pool equipment handling and water treatment
• Working knowledge of STP operation and maintenance is required
• Familiarity with basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Ability to work in a remote location and manage tasks independently
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a luxury resort or hospitality setting
• Basic knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems)
• Awareness of green maintenance practices and energy-saving initiatives
