Senior Researcher

In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI/ML-powered products, working on challenging problems at the intersection of applied research and real-world applications. You'll collaborate closely with diverse product teams, transforming groundbreaking research into tangible solutions that drive significant impact.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research

  in the fields of Generative AI, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, identifying and exploring novel approaches to complex problems.

• Design and develop innovative AI/ML solutions

  for HCLSoftware products, addressing critical challenges and creating new opportunities.

• Collaborate effectively with product teams

  to understand their needs, translate research findings into practical implementations, and integrate advanced AI/ML capabilities into our offerings.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements

  in AI, ML, and Generative AI, continuously evaluating and recommending new technologies and methodologies.

• File patents

  for novel inventions and solutions developed within the SPARC group.

• Mentor and guide junior researchers

  (as applicable), fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science

  .

• 3-5 years of experience

  in applied research or a related role, with a strong focus on AI and Machine Learning.

• Solid theoretical fundamentals

  in

  linear algebra, probability, and statistics

  are essential.

• Knowledge of Generative AI

  is a significant advantage. Candidates with a strong theoretical background in AI/ML and a keen interest in Generative AI will also be considered.

• Proven ability to conduct independent research

  and deliver innovative solutions.

• Strong programming skills

  in languages such as Python.

• Experience with deep learning frameworks

  (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  , with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to write research papers and contribute to patents.
