Company Description The Center of Excellence (CoE) on Light Fidelity (LiFi) aims to develop technology solutions and products to enhance last-mile connectivity using Visible Light Communication (VLC) and to work on the standardization of these technologies in the context of 5G and beyond. It seeks to connect entrepreneurs in India with academic researchers and standardization bodies, and also focuses on manpower training and development of training and classroom courses. The CoE's efficient development and rollout of VLC/LiFi technology will augment internet-access capabilities and complement India's LED boom. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Researcher based in New Delhi. The Researcher will be responsible for conducting advanced research in VLC/LiFi technologies, developing technology solutions, publishing academic papers, collaborating with other researchers and experts, and contributing to the standardization efforts for 5G VLC-based solutions. Daily tasks include designing experiments, analyzing data, writing reports, attending meetings, and participating in relevant conferences and workshops. Qualifications Strong research skills in VLC/LiFi technologies Experience in developing and executing research projects Proficiency in data analysis and report writing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Collaboration and teamwork abilities PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science Experience in the context of 5G technologies and standardization efforts is a plus
