Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing novel and non-infringing synthetic routes for APIs and key intermediates. Additionally, you will evaluate literature and patent landscape for synthetic feasibility and freedom to operate. In the process optimization aspect, you will conduct lab-scale synthesis, optimize reaction conditions for yield, purity, and scalability, and support process development and scale-up activities from the lab to kilo-lab and plant level. Furthermore, you will coordinate with Analytical R&D for impurity profiling and characterization of intermediates, and support the preparation of technical data for DMF, ANDA, and regulatory submissions. Your role will also involve preparing process development reports and transferring technology to the manufacturing site. Safety and compliance are crucial aspects of this role, where you will ensure that all experiments follow EHS and GMP guidelines, and maintain accurate laboratory records, MSDS, and reaction logs.
