We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Scientist with a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a closely related discipline and a strong background in immunoassay development and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in ELISA, protein purification, and core molecular biology methods, along with proven ability to design, execute, and optimise assays for high sensitivity and specificity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative diagnostic solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced research environment at Bodhgaya, Bihar.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimise immunoassays, ensuring high reproducibility and robustness.
  • Perform advanced assay troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Apply molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, and cloning to support assay development.
  • Execute ELISA-based assays for protein detection and quantification.
  • Carry out protein purification using appropriate chromatographic and biochemical methods.
  • Analyse experimental data, troubleshoot protocols, and optimise workflows for improved outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all experiments and procedures.
  • Present research findings to internal teams and contribute to publications and patents.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and quality control standards.


Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Proven expertise in immunoassay development and optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience in ELISA and protein purification techniques.
  • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, cloning, and plasmid preparation.
  • Ability to independently design experiments and interpret results.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postdoctoral or industry research experience in assay development or protein biochemistry.
  • Exposure to translational biology or diagnostic assay platforms.
  • Familiarity with advanced protein analysis techniques and instrumentation.
  • Basic understanding of bioinformatics tools for protein and gene analysis.
