RESEARCH ANALYST R&D (CHEMISTRY)

Job description

Job Role Overview:

An R&D (Research & Development) Research Analyst in Chemistry plays a critical role in designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to develop new products, improve existing formulations, or innovate chemical processes. This position requires a deep understanding of chemical principles, analytical techniques, and a problem-solving mindset to support product innovation and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis using modern techniques
• Perform literature reviews and patent searches to stay updated on scientific trends and identify novel research areas.
• Design and execute lab experiments to test hypotheses, evaluate materials, or develop formulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, quality control, and regulatory affairs.
• Prepare technical reports, SOPs, lab notebooks, and present findings to R&D leadership.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
• Maintain and calibrate lab instruments, ensuring data accuracy and reproducibility.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong foundation in organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry.
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation and data interpretation.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple research projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Chemistry or related field.
• 1 yr exp preferrable(GOOD ACADAMICS)

YOU WILL GET TO STAY IN CIBA CHENNAI FOR FEW DAYS TO PERFORM EXPERIMENTS.WE WILL PROVIDE ACCOMODATION AND FOOD.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per year
