Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, including

    Tally ERP

    , and

    MS Office Suite

    (especially Advanced Excel).
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Data Management

    • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statements.
    • Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data for optimal reporting.
  2. Bookkeeping

    • Handle day-to-day financial transactions with precision.
    • Verify, allocate, and post financial data to the appropriate accounts.
  3. Bank Reconciliation

    • Regularly reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Monitor cash flow, and proactively report on any irregularities.
  4. Budget Management

    • Assist in budget preparation and continuous monitoring.
    • Provide relevant financial data and detailed reports to support budgetary decision-making.
  5. Tax Compliance

    • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
  6. Financial Analysis

    • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for management.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvement.
  7. Reporting

    • Generate and present financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Prepare comprehensive financial statements as required.
  8. Audit Support

    • Work closely with auditors during financial audits.
    • Provide all necessary documentation and information efficiently.
  9. Process Improvement

    • Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
    • Streamline accounting functions for increased operational efficiency.

Technical Skills:
