Job Title: Renewable Energy Professional Location: Ahmedabad Experience Required: 812 Years (Preferred in C&I Renewable Energy Projects) Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Professional to lead and support various renewable energy initiatives in Arvind Limited. This role is crucial in evaluating and implementing hybrid renewable energy projects (Solar + Wind) and Power purchase Agreements (PPAs) for our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for site evaluation, project monitoring & Control, regulatory compliance, vendor management and executing the Power Purchase Agreements, while also contributing to strategic planning and policy tracking for renewable energy adoption across India. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed site surveys and assessments to identify viable locations for renewable energy projects. Perform technical and financial evaluation for site selection and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) options. Analyse grid connectivity, wind and solar resource availability, land feasibility and access constraints. Draft, review and negotiate project contracts, EPC agreements, O&M contracts and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Collaborate with legal and commercial teams to ensure contracts meet business, regulatory and risk mitigation objectives. Calculate and propose optimal renewable energy capacity required to meet the company's C&I power demands. Lead end-to-end project management activities for renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind and Hybrid). Prepare project plans, monitor timelines, track statutory approvals and ensure regulatory compliance. Manage stakeholder expectations including internal teams, external consultants, government bodies and vendors. Identify and manage relationships with EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and service vendors. Continuously explore and evaluate new opportunities to meet the company's renewable energy goals like BESS and new technologies for RTC Renewable Power. Assist in commercial negotiations for PPAs, CAPEX/OPEX models and renewable energy procurement strategies. Stay updated on central and state-level renewable energy policies, regulatory frameworks and incentive programs. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field. Proven experience in handling renewable energy projects, preferably hybrid (solar + wind) systems. Strong understanding of C&I power consumption patterns, load management and grid regulations. Proficient in energy modelling, yield assessment. Familiarity with policy landscapes across multiple Indian states. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
