Reliability Engineer

As a Reliability Engineer in the Critical Care business department at Bethlehem location, your primary role is to ensure that the company's equipment and processes operate optimally to meet organizational needs. Your responsibilities include: - Assessing and monitoring equipment for reliability, implementing necessary improvements - Ensuring appropriate critical spares are in place as needed - Tracking production losses and high maintenance cost assets to reduce losses and cost - Identifying potential problems or opportunities for improvement through data analysis - Managing risk to achieve strategic objectives in environmental health, safety, asset capability, quality, and production - Developing Total Cost of Ownership, Mean Time to Failure, Life Cycle Cost, Mean Time to Repair metrics - Running process improvement projects from design to implementation - Collaborating with other departments to integrate reliability into all aspects of the organization - Participating in equipment and process qualification and validation Key competencies required for success in this role include analytical thinking, technical aptitude, problem-solving, communication, project management, data management, continuous improvement mindset, safety consciousness, knowledge of CMMS system and functions, and regulations related to manufacturing processes. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related or similar field.
