Job Description

Job Description The Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software releases. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and technical skills. Responsibilities: Release Planning: Develop and maintain the release calendar. Work with stakeholders to define release scope and objectives. Identify and manage release risks and dependencies. Release Coordination: Coordinate release activities across multiple teams. Ensure that all release requirements are met. Track release progress and communicate status to stakeholders. Release Execution: Manage the release process, including build, testing, and deployment. Ensure that releases are deployed smoothly and without disruption to production environments. Troubleshoot release issues and provide timely resolution. Post-Release Activities: Conduct post-release reviews to identify areas for improvement. Document release processes and procedures. Maintain release documentation and artifacts. Automation & Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and improve the release process. Implement best practices for release management. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. Proven experience as a Release Manager or similar role. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management principles. Experience with release automation tools and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
