Role Purpose

The Telesales Executive will be responsible for achieving individual and team sales targets, driving cross-sell opportunities, ensuring high service standards, and executing telesales strategies to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly individual and team targets.
  • Ensure all telesales activities contribute to meeting sales goals.
  • Develop and implement telesales strategies and objectives.
  • Set and achieve challenging sales targets.
  • Drive cross-sell efforts across product lines.

Service Quality & Productivity

  • Meet service standards and continuously monitor performance.
  • Evaluate and measure productivity to maximize efficiency in telesales campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records, approvals, and reports related to customer interactions.

Lead Management & Process Handling

  • Analyze and manage incoming leads.
  • Convert qualified leads into sales.
  • Update internal systems based on customer interactions.
  • Process customer requests and offers promptly.
  • Follow up with relevant departments to ensure timely completion of customer requests.

Customer Management

  • Handle and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Escalate unresolved concerns to the Team Leader.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely communication.

Reporting

  • Prepare daily and monthly reports and MIS for the team.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation.

Operating Environment & Relationships

  • Work in a virtual call-center environment.
  • Coordinate closely with the Team Leader, Product Manager, and Inbound/Outbound Teams for follow-ups and updates.

Problem Solving

  • Recommend process improvements through root cause analysis.
  • Take ownership of crisis situations and ensure problem resolution.
  • Resolve issues within the telesales team and with other units.
  • Address customer-related concerns efficiently.

Decision-Making Authority

  • Manage own performance and conduct self-appraisals.
  • Make decisions related to improving lead quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Adjust lead allocation based on process changes.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • University graduate (any discipline).
  • 3–7 years of experience in a similar telesales environment.
  • Strong sales and customer service orientation.
  • Practical marketing background preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong people management abilities.
  • Result-driven team player.
  • Ability to think creatively and work well under pressure.
  • Good analytical and computer skills.
  • Adaptable, versatile, and business-sensitive.
