Relationship Manager - SME

Job Title: SME Analyst

Location: Mumbai

We are looking for a talent with 2-7 years experience with a highly respected financial services group that provides structured financing to corporates and SME to early / mid stage venture companies in few thematic areas. Building relationships with founders of innovative companies, business & financial modelling experience, well networked in the venture ecosystem and inspired with impact financing are some of the requirement for this hire. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with companies and founders.
• Evaluate and co-source SME and structured finance opportunities.
• Conduct preliminary screening of proposals and prepare first-level credit
• Conduct preliminary screening of proposals and prepare first-level credit cases internally.
• Perform detailed risk assessment and structure credit deals.
• Prepare comprehensive credit assessment memos covering business, industry, management, and financial analysis.
• Support additional due diligence and manage end-to-end credit approval processes including negotiations, documentation, and closing procedures.
• Collaborate with legal and internal teams to draft, negotiate, and execute transaction documents.
• Monitor monthly financial and operational metrics of portfolio companies and recommend strategies for risk mitigation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Has exposure to transactions in consumer goods and services, education, healthcare, logistics, fintech, other tech and real estate.
• Has strong financial modelling skills.
• Has strong written and oral communication skills.
• Has worked in high energy, fast-paced team environment.
• Desire to work smart and wear multiple hats.

Competency Skills

• Understanding of industry trends and developments as well as their impact on the Bank.
• Strong communication and writing / analytical skills & fluent in written and verbal English.
