Level 2/L3 operations for our core Loan Management System (Pennant)

1. Production Support & Incident Management

  • Provide

    L2/L3 technical support

    for the Pennant LMS, diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to loan servicing, disbursement, and collection.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of critical incidents (P1/P2) involving

    interest calculation errors

    , GL reconciliation breaks, and regulatory reporting failures.
  • Perform daily

    EOD/BOD

    health checks and troubleshoot batch job failures related to loan processing and amortisation schedules.
  • Utilise monitoring tools (

    Kibana, Dynatrace, Grafana

    ) to analyse logs, trace transactions, and perform rapid Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

2. Loan Accounting & Compliance

  • Validate and confirm the accuracy of all

    loan interest and fee calculations

    across various products within the Pennant system.
  • Perform data fixes in production environments using

    SQL/PL-SQL

    and ensure full audit compliance for all executed fixes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance and Audit teams to resolve General Ledger (GL)discrepancies and ensure accurate posting of income and charges.

3. Change Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Development and QA teams for the deployment of new features, patches, and configurations, ensuring thorough

    UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

    and post-production validation.
  • Liaise directly with the

    Pennant vendor

    for complex bug fixes, critical escalations, and system enhancement requests.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Tools Proficiency:

    Experience with incident management tools (

    ServiceNow, JIRA

    ), monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Kibana), and job scheduling tools (

    Autosys/Control-M

    ).
  • Communication:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors effectively.
