Relationship Manager , Small Medium Enterprises, Institutional Banking Group

Role Overview: As a Relationship Manager Asset in the SME segment within IBG 4 at the bank, your main responsibility is to acquire and manage a diversified portfolio that generates revenue from various sources like assets, trade, cash, treasury, and fees. You are expected to adhere to the lending guidelines set by the bank while ensuring a healthy income with acceptable risks. Key Responsibilities: - Source new asset relationships within the IBG 4 segment, adhering to the bank's lending policy and targeting a turnover of up to 100 Crore - Maintain a good Net Interest Income and fee generation across the portfolio, while actively cross-selling trade, liabilities, cash, and treasury products - Contribute towards increasing the profitability of the branch and monitor the portfolio to keep delinquencies at a minimum - Implement the IBG4 business strategy to increase market share, achieve targets, and reduce concentration risk in the portfolio - Build the bank's brand value and network through marketing activities, collaborations, and events - Comply with the bank's processes and policies to ensure positive ratings during audits Qualifications Required: - Overall 3-5 years of sales experience with 2 years specifically in SME/Business Banking Lending - Proven track record in asset business within the SME/Business Banking segment - Knowledge of competitors and marketplace trends - Bachelor's in finance/economics/commerce, MBA, or CA qualification preferred Additional Details: DBS India fosters a culture where all employees are valued, respected, and provided with continuous professional development opportunities in an inclusive and diverse environment.
