Regulatory Project Manager

Role overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with strong project management capabilities, and business analysis skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing regulatory change initiatives, with exposure to e-invoicing regulatory implementations considered a strong plus. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of regulatory programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end regulatory projects, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements and deadlines.
• Partner with stakeholders (business, technology, compliance, finance, operations) to gather requirements, analyze impacts, and translate them into actionable plans.
• Act as Business Analyst: document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications for regulatory initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, risk logs, and status reporting for senior management.
• Ensure effective governance, stakeholder alignment, and proactive risk/issue management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor evolving regulations, assess business impact, and support readiness for implementation.
• Lead working groups- Collaborating with Leadership team, finance team, sustainability teams, to understand regulatory requirements and coordinate project progress
• Perform a gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current practices and the regulatory requirements
• Maintain thorough documentation of project processes, compliance requirements, and stakeholder meetings to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Project Management: Proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects (PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus).
• Regulatory Experience: Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and implementation in financial services.
• Business Analysis: Skilled in requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Experience in regulatory implementation for e-invoicing or similar compliance programs is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management and BA tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
• 4-10 years of experience in regulatory change, project management, or business analysis within financial services
• Proven experience in business analysis and project management roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive consensus
• Knowledge of regulations

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Understanding of regulations and compliance standards. A plus if related to e-invoicing
