Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Registrar Cardiac Anaesthesia positioned in Bengaluru. The Registrar will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, and postoperative care. Daily tasks include preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, monitoring patients' vital signs, managing pain relief, and collaborating with surgical teams for risk assessments and patient care improvements. The role also involves participating in clinical rounds and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the department. Qualifications Proficiency in cardiac anesthesia techniques, patient assessment, and perioperative care Experience with anesthesia equipment management and patient monitoring Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborative care Excellent knowledge of pain management protocols and emergency response Ability to participate in clinical rounds and quality improvement initiatives MBBS with MD/DNB in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia or equivalent experience Current medical licensure and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Experience in teaching and research is an advantage Show more Show less
