Job Description

As a Sales Manager in our organization, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective sales strategies aimed at penetrating the cattle feed market in the designated area. This entails identifying target customers, setting sales objectives, and establishing pricing strategies in alignment with company goals. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers such as livestock farmers, dairy farms, and feed dealers will be crucial. Providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty are key components of this role. You will be expected to set ambitious sales targets for the region and develop action plans to achieve them. Monitoring sales performance regularly and taking corrective actions as needed to meet or exceed sales goals will be essential. Market research and analysis will be an integral part of your responsibilities to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Utilizing these insights to adjust sales strategies and develop new business opportunities will be critical to your success. Leading and motivating teams of sales representatives or field agents through TSMs/ASMs within the region will be part of your role. Providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure the team is well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve sales targets will be a key aspect of this position. You will work closely with distribution partners and channel dealers to ensure timely delivery of cattle feed products to customers. Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with logistics teams to optimize distribution processes will also be part of your responsibilities. Analyzing regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for the region will be essential. Evaluating sales data to measure performance against targets, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to senior management to support decision-making processes will be expected. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, and provident fund. The work location will primarily be on the road as you engage with customers and oversee sales activities in the designated area.,
