has been mandated to hire a

Regional Sales Manager (Gujarat; Uttar Pradesh)

for one of the leading biscuit manufacturers in India with more than 35 years of experience in the biscuit manufacturing industry which has enabled them to produce top quality products, rich in nutrition and having passed a series of quality control checks before they reach the customers. They have presence in 13 states of India with 500 distributors and 5 lakh outlets. It has its product presence in Dubai, Africa, North America, the Middle East, and Singapore.

Job Purpose

We are currently looking to hire an energetic and ambitious Regional Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play an instrumental role in developing and expanding the company’s footprint in the UP, Gujarat, and Rajasthan region and significantly contribute to achieving the business and revenue targets for the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and acquiring new distributors, as well as up-selling to existing distributor bases across the region.
  • Effectively managing and driving the sales cycle from prospecting through to successful closure
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and accounts for growth and retention
  • Managing and leading regional sales teams to achieve sales targets and inspire high performance in line with set KPIs and targets
  • Building strong relationships with key accounts in the region
  • Growing a sustainable and robust sales pipeline and ensuring accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning
  • Developing & implementing sales strategies and plans to meet revenue goals
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis in the region
  • Prepare regular reports and conduct monthly meetings to review performance
  • Representing the company at regional events and trade shows
  • Analyzing market trends and competitors’ activities in the region
  • Developing and managing regional sales budgets and expenses.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Having a diploma/degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Having a strong track record of success with prior experience in a regional sales role
  • Should possess solid and credible relationships with key decision-makers in the region
  • Highly goal-oriented and possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong experience in consultative sales and possesses the ability to prospect and manage senior-level relationships
