 Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Engagement & Lead Generation

    • Drive opportunities and lead generation through strategic vendor relationships.
    • Set and align product targets with vendors based on market share and growth potential.
  • Sales Enablement & Target Ownership

    • Co-own product topline targets in collaboration with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and National Sales Heads (NSH).
    • Ensure competitive product positioning and timely bid submissions (BID/SPC).
  • Product Lifecycle Management

    • Provide timely updates on product migrations, upgrades, and transitions.
    • Maintain product assurance and a competitive edge across the Cisco portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Mapping & Relationship Management

    • Map and manage relationships across OEMs, distributors, and internal teams.
    • Strengthen OEM/vendor partnerships to ensure timely deliveries and support.
  • Capability Development & Training

    • Develop sub-product lines and drive regional growth initiatives.
    • Impart product knowledge and facilitate certifications for sales and technical teams.
  • Marketing & Awareness

    • Create and circulate EDMs to promote new product arrivals and updates.
    • Organize joint events with vendors to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Sales Support & Enablement

    • Support sales teams by removing transactional obstacles and providing price support.
    • Deliver competitive intelligence and ensure solution acceptance across accounts.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention

    • Identify and onboard new customers via OEMs, digital channels, media, and innovation.
    • Protect strategic accounts and ensure long-term product adoption.
  • Inventory & Stock Management

    • Conduct regular stock reviews and drive liquidation strategies.

 Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in IT product management, preferably with Cisco technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the Cisco product ecosystem and competitive landscape.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and drive sales enablement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in product training, certification facilitation, and regional development.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.
