Job Summary:

Regional Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end regional logistics operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
  
• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business objectives to improve service levels and cost efficiency.
  
• Manage relationships with 3PL providers, transporters, and other logistics vendors; negotiate contracts and evaluate performance.
  
• Monitor key logistics KPIs such as TAT, OTIF, freight cost, and warehouse utilization; ensure continuous improvement.
  
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of logistics professionals and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, procurement, and production to forecast demand and align supply chain plans.
  
• Ensure compliance with local and national regulations related to logistics and transportation.
  
• Leverage technology and automation tools (WMS, TMS, ERP systems) for process improvement and real-time visibility.
  
• Manage logistics budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive operational excellence.
  

Key Requirements:

• Education:

  Graduate degree required; MBA or B. Tech in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

• Experience:

  Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with at least 3 to 5 years in a regional leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management, and vendor coordination.
  
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  
• Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS, SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
  
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
