Regional Legal Counsel

In this role, you will apply an intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues. You will work on problems of moderately complex scope, providing analysis and limited project direction input. Exercising independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action will be a key aspect of your role. Evaluation of unique circumstances and making recommendations accordingly will also be part of your responsibilities. - Provide standard legal advice impacting client decisions in a country, including assisting with commercial transactions, contracts, program review, drafting, and negotiation. - Develop legal awareness training for clients in a country. - Analyze and resolve a variety of standard local legal issues. Qualifications Required: - Advanced university degree in law (e.g. JD or LLB). - Meets local legal license requirements. - Typically 2-6 years commercial legal experience at a law firm or in-house. - Intermediate level of experience in the application of basic or specialty law fundamentals to actual client matters. Developed knowledge of local/regional laws, regulations, policies, and procedures is essential. Demonstrated understanding of legal negotiation or counseling, effective legal communication skills (written, verbal, active listening), and developing experience addressing legal matters are highly regarded. English language skills to business standard are preferred.,
