Job Opportunity: Regional HR Head (HR Business Partner)

Regional HR Head

About the Role

This role is critical for enhancing workforce productivity and retention in the assigned region by focusing on the entire HR spectrum: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance, Employee Engagement, Training, and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Partner with business leaders to plan and forecast manpower requirements.
  • Collaborate with the central recruitment team to ensure timely closure of open and strategic roles.
  • Support employer branding and regional hiring campaigns.
  • Oversee regional onboarding and ensure role-specific induction is effectively delivered.
  • Monitor probation reviews, confirmation processes , and identify internal mobility/succession planning opportunities.

Performance Management

  • Drive end-to-end performance management cycles (goal setting, mid-year, annual reviews).
  • Facilitate performance calibration sessions with vertical/function leaders.
  • Train managers on effective feedback and evaluation practices.
  • Support Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and follow-ups.

Employee Engagement & Attrition Control

  • Conduct regular employee connects and engagement forums.
  • Analyze attrition data, identify trends, and recommend interventions to improve retention and reduce early exits.
  • Implement stay interviews and analyze early employee experience.
  • Drive action plan closure based on Engagement survey scores (a key KPI).

Learning & Development (L&D)

  • Gather training needs from business and function heads.
  • Coordinate with the L&D team for planning, tracking training impact, and assessing post-training application for ROI.

Compliance, Governance & Reporting

  • Conduct

    HR and compliance audits

    across all locations.
  • Ensure adherence to

    POSH guidelines and regional labor laws

    .
  • Manage statutory obligations in collaboration with Legal/Compliance teams.
  • Maintain regional

    MIS

    on key HR metrics (headcount, attrition, training, etc.).
  • Present dashboards and generate actionable insights for business reviews.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Success in this role will be measured by performance against these key metrics:

  • Time-to-fill and recruitment SLA adherence.
  • Voluntary and early attrition trends.
  • Performance management cycle adherence.
  • Audit outcomes and compliance scores.
  • Field coverage (store/service location visits).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in HR / Business Administration (

    mandatory

    ); MBA/PGDM in HR (

    preferred

    ).
  • Experience:

    8 years

    in an

    HRBP/HR Generalist

    role. Exposure to

    multi-location retail or service environments

    preferred.
  • Skills:

    Sound knowledge of labor laws and regional HR compliance , strong analytical mindset , skilled in conflict management and problem-solving , and proficiency in HRMS tools (SAP, SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Behavioral:

    Self-driven, ability to work independently in a

    field-heavy role

    , with strong Business Acumen and Stakeholder Management skills
